First meeting with the Architect

Discussed the existing plans for the property and the options available at this stage.

The plot already has planning permission for a 3 bedroom bungalow and 2 car parking spaces. However the mains sewer pipe for surrounding houses run right through the middle of the plot! Lovely!

As the cost of moving the pipe is going to well into a 5-figure pricetag (ouch!), it is going to be much more cost efficient to change the plans so that the house is as at one end of the plot.
The quick sketch that was made during our meeting, shows what might be a better option and so we are going to proceed with a feasibility study to find out the facts.
This study should produce a workable design, with an initial “OK” from the planners. Fingers-crossed.
