Traditional flagstone flooring for new build homes

Give your new build home the period property look, with traditional flagstone paving or interior flooring.

Sometimes new-build homes can look a little lifeless and lack some interest but adding traditionally styled flagstones to your living room, kitchen, dining room or bathrooms, can inject some character into your living spaces.

Including hand-crafted interior flagstone flooring and exterior flagstone paving slabs in your build project, will create a traditional look for any period style or contemporary property.

There are a number of options available when considering flagstones for your home:

  • new natural stone flagstones
  • hand-made reproduction flagstones
  • reclaimed flagstones

Any of the above option will look great but you will need to consider carefully the cost and availability of these, before committing.

Hand-made reproduction flags represent probably the best of these options, because:

  • you can source as many as you need in the sizes required
  • the colours will more closely match for your whole project
  • the pricing will be the most competitive

If you have underfloor heating in your new home, flagstones will also be compatible, giving you the warmth and comfort you need in the winter months, while remaining cool to touch in the heat of summer.
