Although the house is nearing completion (if that's ever possible!) and we're living in it, the blog is playing catch-up. More blog entries are being added all the time.

The retaining wall continues

Some heavier engineering is required to build the mail retaining wall structure.

We have a wall (or the beginnings of)

Now that a length of concrete footing is in place, the first blocks have gone down and a retaining wall is starting to grow.

First concrete goes down

Today the first batch of concrete went down, to start the foundations for the boundary retaining walls
