A self build house project diary

National Self Build and Renovation Centre Show

Today we attended the show and gained some really useful insight into running a self build project.

Luckily the National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon, is right on my doorstep. It has been open for a while now but this is my first visit. With the quantity and quality of information, advice and resources available I'm sure there will be more visits in the future.

As you might expect, there was a familiar face at the show, giving advice and guidance - one Mr. Tommy Walsh. He's taller than I expected. 😊

From attending some seminars, I think there is going to be a fairly steep learning curve on this project but it's all doable. Found some really useful looking courses in association with Swindon College for self builders so will be looking into those for sure.
